Video consultation invitations

A practitioner's contact page, Video consultations; and Settings, Patient messages.

Each practitioner says how a patient booked to see them by video joins them, on their own contact page under Video consultations. No invitation means Fedelsoft sends nothing and the practitioner invites the patient themselves. Our Zoom makes a meeting on the organisation's Zoom account and sends the patient its link. Their own link sends the practitioner's own standing link and passcode, typed in below the choice, and makes no meeting. The practitioner may change it themselves, and so may a Director, Senior Manager, Human Resources or Admin. Until somebody chooses, the answer is No invitation.

An appointment counts as by video when its place is called Virtual, Remote, Online or Video, or its only type is Remote/Virtual. A room that is also an office or a treatment room is not enough, because a patient sent a video link for an appointment in the building might not come in; such an appointment may still be marked Remote on Start, where a mark that errs is only a prompt to check. The invitation goes the day before, from the hour the organisation sets until eight in the evening, and an appointment booked later than that is invited within the hour. It is never sent twice for the same time, never for a cancelled appointment and never once the appointment has started; moving an appointment to a new time sends a new one.

The email gives the day, the date as day, month, year, and the time on the organisation's own clock (UK time for an organisation in the UK), names the practitioner and says the organisation sends it on their behalf. On the organisation's Zoom it also says meetings there are recorded by default. It is kept on the patient's record under Emails, and the log says it was sent, or why it was not. The appointment's own meeting link is set to the same meeting at the same moment, so Start on the appointment opens the meeting the patient was sent.

In Settings, Video consultations holds what applies to every practitioner at the organisation: the team name every invitation is sent and signed as, the organisation's own name when left empty, the hour they start going and the organisation's Zoom account. The Zoom secret is kept encrypted and never shown again; leave its box empty to keep the one held. Until the Zoom account is filled in, a practitioner set to Our Zoom is not sent anything and the patient's log says why.
