The organisation's GoCardless connection

This is where an organisation's GoCardless account is connected, once, for everything that uses it. Account says whether it is the Sandbox, for testing, or the Live account; Access token is pasted from GoCardless and checked against GoCardless before it is kept; Webhook secret is the secret of the webhook made at GoCardless for the address shown under it, and is optional, because without it Fedelsoft reads the status of a new mandate every quarter of an hour instead of being told. Both are held encrypted and are never shown again, only Held. The line under them says whose account it is, whether it is Sandbox or Live and when it was last read, and Refresh reads every mandate the account holds now.

Two things use the connection and each keeps its own switch: Direct Debit requests to practitioners who hire rooms, under Settings on the Applications page, and the Direct Debit step in patient onboarding, under Settings, Portal and payments, Patient onboarding. Connecting here does not switch either on. A Director or IT Support holder changes it; a live account is replaced only by another live one, and the test site never changes a live connection.
