Finding your way: the menu on Start
The row of buttons under the greeting on Start.
The menu on Start is a row of buttons, one for each part of the work: Patients, Theatre, Money, People, Documents, Stock and Growth. Press one and what is in it appears beneath, led by its name; press it again to put it away. On a phone the buttons wrap onto a second row rather than running off the side. You see only the parts you have, and only what is in them for you, the same things you could open before.
Patients holds Admissions, Safeguarding, Seen once, App users, Memberships (with Plans inside the Memberships page), the Consent library and Photo import. Theatre holds Operating lists, Timings, the Waiting list and Surgery payments. Money holds Invoices, Expenses, Accounts, Room hire, Direct debits and Collections. People holds the Duty schedule, Timesheets, Applications and Notices. Documents holds Documents, whose page has Policies, Clinical guidelines, Health and safety, Confidential, Personnel records and Job descriptions as tabs along its top, and Attachments. Stock holds Stock, Equipment and Labels. Growth holds Leads, Marketing and Social.
Some things are not in the menu because Start already has them. Your to-do list, schedule, messages and What's new are Start's own tiles. A patient, a contact or an organisation is found with the search bar: type its name. Typing organisations, contacts or patients offers Find, which keeps your next search to that kind. Employee Schedule and Resource Allocation are the Duty schedule; Stock Check and Consumables are Stock. Building clinics is Build clinics on the Schedule window. Reference data is Lists, in Settings. Settings and Your feedback are in the menu under your initials at the top right.
