Consultations invoiced when they are booked

Booking on the schedule on Start, moving a booking, confirming a reservation or a time an enquirer chose; Settings, Fees and quotes, Consultation invoicing.

Where the organisation has it switched on, a consultation booked with one of the practitioners named under Consultation invoicing is invoiced the moment it is booked. The invoice is linked to the patient, the practitioner and the appointment, carries that practitioner's consultation at its catalogue price, and shows on the appointment's Invoices. Where the organisation has chosen to, it is emailed to the patient at once with a link to pay.

An appointment is a consultation where its purpose contains one of the words the organisation has listed, such as consultation. One booked with no purpose counts only where the organisation has said so, and one whose purpose says free never does.

It happens when you press Book on the schedule, when you move a booked patient to another time, and when a reservation made in the patient portal, or a time an enquirer chose from a lead, is confirmed. A reservation is not invoiced until somebody confirms it. What happened is said beside the booking: the invoice raised and its amount, or why none was.
