Affordability profile

Affordability profile, on the Affordability line of a patient's record.

For directors, managers and IT Support, the affordability profile shows your organisation's patients in three groups: those who had surgery, those who were seen in clinic and had no surgery, and those who only enquired. Each patient is counted once, at the furthest point they reached in the period. For each group it gives how many there were, their average affordability score, how they spread across Very high, High, Moderate and Low, and the postcode areas (the first half of the postcode, such as SL6) they most often come from.

Choose the period, and if you like one practitioner or a procedure, and press Show. A procedure narrows the surgery and the enquiries to those that name it. Enquiries are counted only where they came in through Fedelsoft's own enquiry form, so a period before it was in use shows none.

The score describes the area of the patient's current address, not the patient, and nothing is kept on anybody's record: correct an address and the profile follows it. Addresses outside England have no score and are counted separately, as are patients with no postcode. You can also ask for it in the Ask panel, for example the affordability profile of your surgical patients this year.
