Booking forms not complete a week before surgery
On your to-do list on Start, and by email, each morning.
Booking forms should be done at least a week before the operation. Every morning Fedelsoft looks at each operation on an operating list in the coming seven days, and where its booking form has not been submitted it tells the operation's own admitting consultant, about their own operations only: what is missing, the patient and the date of surgery.
A consultant who signs in to Fedelsoft gets a to-do and an email. A consultant who does not gets the email only, at the address on their contact card. A consultant who signs in but has no email address gets the to-do only. Where a consultant neither signs in nor has an email address, the hospital's booking coordinators get the to-do instead, and it says that the consultant could not be told directly.
The to-do is one per operation. It is rewritten each morning rather than added again, becomes urgent from two days before surgery, and finishes by itself once the booking form is submitted, or if the operation is cancelled or has passed. The email goes once a day until then. A form that is ready to submit but has not been submitted counts as not complete.
