Risk assessments

Risk assessments, under Documents in the menu on Start, for those who have it there, and the assessment on a task.

The organisation's risk assessments, the open ones first with the soonest review at the top, then the closed ones: each with its review date, marked Overdue once that date has passed, how many hazards it has, the highest risk among them and whether it is open, closed or escalated. The title opens it. New assessment starts one, dated today, ready for its title, at the organisation you are signed in at, or at the one chosen in Organisation at the top.

Where you have access at more than one organisation and have Risk assessments on your menu at each, the list holds the assessments of every one of them, each marked with its organisation, and ticks above the list hide an organisation's. An assessment from another organisation opens and is changed there without switching, and only where it would have opened had you switched; the assessors and the person it is escalated to are chosen from the people who work at that organisation. Organisation at the top chooses one organisation instead, and the list and New assessment are then that organisation's alone; All my organisations returns to the combined list.

An assessment has its title, the date it was assessed, the date it is to be reviewed by, its domain, its categories and key lines of enquiry, and a description. Everything is saved as you type. Assessors lists who carried it out: choose a person and press Add, or Remove beside a name.

Each hazard has what the hazard is, who is at risk and the controls already in place, then the risk now as a likelihood and a severity, the further controls, and the risk after them. The rating beside each pair is the likelihood times the severity, from very low to catastrophic, and changes as you choose. Add starts a hazard, and Remove takes one off after asking.

Outcome has the conclusion and the further action. Choose Escalate and a person, then press Escalate: the assessment is marked escalated, and that person is given a task to investigate it, linked to the assessment.
