Equipment

Equipment, under Stock in the menu on Start.

The register and the maintenance schedule. One piece of equipment has its maintenance log, issue reports and their resolution, its location, and the record itself, including disposal.

Where you have access at more than one organisation, the register and the schedule hold the equipment of every one of them, each piece marked with its organisation, and ticks above the list hide an organisation's. A piece from another organisation opens there without switching, and only where it would have opened had you switched. Organisation at the top chooses one organisation instead: the register, the schedule and Register equipment are then that organisation's alone, exactly as if you had switched to it, and All my organisations returns to the combined list. Without a choice, Register equipment registers under the organisation you are signed in at.

The maintenance log is the whole history, newest first, including the years the old system has filed away, and an archived entry is marked as such. Each entry has its own attachment: Folder opens the files attached to that entry, including those added before, and Attach, on an entry with none, makes its folder and opens it so the report or certificate can be added. The last maintenance date on the register and on the record is the newest entry that recorded an outcome; a note on the log such as a rename, a move or a reminder is not a service and does not move the date.
