Choosing how new leads reach you
Settings, Lead alerts. It is under Just me, so it is yours alone.
A new lead is always on Leads. As well, everybody it is given to is added to its to-do and texted on their own mobile. Under Lead alerts, switch To-do off if you work straight from Leads and do not want the to-do, or Text off if you would rather not be texted. Each saves as soon as you press it.
With To-do off you are not added to the to-do for a new lead, a follow-up or an application, and the people who still have it carry on as before. If everybody a lead goes to has it off, the lead says that no to-do was given.
A lead is answered when you send an email or an invitation from it, press Call or WhatsApp, or add a note that begins with what you did, such as Sent email, Emailed, Called or Spoke to. That stops the clock and the reminders, and a lead that was New becomes In touch. An answer typed in the Instagram app counts the same. A note that says anything else is only a note.
It only decides how a lead first reaches you. If a lead goes unanswered for long enough, the people it escalates to are still texted, and that is not affected by these settings.
